"Colorful illustrations and musical scores convey the message that love can be everywhere in any shape or color."
Book Description
"Love, by Trio" is a children's picture book of three stories celebrating the joy, wonder, and the simple beauty of love as seen through a child's eyes. Its words are songs. Its melodies are uncomplicated. Its illustrations will tickle your heart. "Love, by Trio" also represents a classroom-tested educational tool as it encourages: reading through music, year-round caring for others, and divergent, imaginative thinking.

Throughout the 2005 summer, the Madison Mallards & TDS Metrocom once again teamed up to support local charities through the “Stealing for Charity” program which took place during every home game this summer at the “Duck Pond” at Warner Park. Every time a Mallard stole a base at home, TDS pledged 25 dollars to be split between St. Vincent de Paul & Tyler’s Place. The Mallards stole a total of 54 bases at home which has resulted in a donation of 675 dollars to each of the charities. This is the second consecutive year that TDS & the Mallards have partnered on this event and it has become a staple at every Mallards home game.
“We’re excited to be able to support both of these local charities and present them with a check,” said Matt Loch, Vice President of Sales for TDS Metrocom. “We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Mallards and being able to ‘Steal for Charity’ on an ongoing basis.”
A check to both organizations was presented on Friday, October 21st at 10:30am at “Duck Pond.”
Thank you for joining us on Friday June 3rd, 2005 for the Benefit Concert with
ROAD TRIP, JOHN MASINO & CLEAR BLUE BETTY
There were about 200 on hand who enjoyed an amazing night of music including a unforgettable jam with John Masino playing on-stage with Clear Blue Betty. There was also a good showing for the "Bowl with Bucky" event before the concert where Bucky Badger made a big impression on several young fans.
A big big big thanks to all the bands (who donated their time and talent), the Badger Bowl, Bucky Badger, Channel 3, Rick's Cafe, all our volunteers and most of all our supporters. Together you raised over $2,000 for Tyler's Place.
